During Soul Whispering sessions, clients learn to connect with their Soul Voice in a very literal way in order to receive practical, grounded and spiritual information.  Your Soul is a real energetic entity that longs to be in communion with you.  Your Soul wants you to actualize your uniqueness, also known as Individuation, on this planet.  It wants you to become you, in your full and unique, You-ness.  It also wants you to bring your You-ness out into the world and to In-Joy being Here. This relationship with the Soul is built through our sessions to create a huge increase in Consciousness as well as a literal embodiment of the energy of this all-loving and all-seeing Guide. The Soul is allowed permission by the Ego to enter and guide the physical body and personality.  We are no longer alone after we have made this type of contact.  We may still have pain but it allieviates suffering, as we understand the meaning of the events in our lives.  Random accidents are no longer seen or felt as random.  We make room for Sacred Space and the reality of Synchronicities or "Meaningful Coinincidences" in our lives.  A new level of beauty shows up as we realize we are surrounded by a very sacred and intelligent Universe working to help us achieve our reality of Divine Channels of Source Energy.  We start to understand we are co-creating with the universe on a very real level.  We learn that our Soul is Orchestrating all the events of our lives.  I Use my ability to see energy along with my theraputic skills as a Marriage and Family Therapist to guide the sessions.  I see myself as a Spiritual Midwife in that I am helping the client's conscious Ego give birth to the energy of their Soul that is aching and longing to reside side-by-side in conscious awareness with the personality.  Sometimes there are birthing pains along the way, but what is gained is a feeling that your life has become "on purpose".  The session are not therapy but they are theraputic.  I use my Ministers license for these sessions as this work is outside the scope of practice of a Marriage and Family Therapist.  It is important to know that this is not the classical therapy of my graduate program or traditional Ego maintence and functioning which was my focus while I was working as an MFT; but I do bring those skills, wisdom and previous experience to my current work.  I would say that those pieces of me are strongly present in the sessions and influences the work in an integrative way.  Yet, these sessions are inherently spiritual in nature, which is why I am using my Ministers license for the type of work I do currently.  The work I do now is not religious in nature, and so it does not interfere if you do have a current religion that you adhere to, but it is Spiritual in nature in that it acknowledges the reality of the invisibles that are very real and stand outside of Ego Awareness.  I have no interest in converting, convincing or controlling anyone.  The work is self-evident and if you are willing to show up for your Self you will experience the feeling and reality of your Soul Voice through the sessions.  Some people are not ready for this work and I honor that as well.  There is a Divine Timing to who comes to me and how we are to work together and sometimes it is not in allignment to work together in this way.  I take my guidance from my Soul Voice as well as yours.  I have found that one energy session is more practical and effective then 50 or even 100 talk therapy sessions.  I do this work because I follow what is healing, practical and effective.  The sessions I do now are like a power punch, they go straight to the heart of the matter.  (I mean that literally!)  I also like to weave in lots of humor.  Because The Divine is too serious a matter to take so seriously.

 

'Our biography is our biology', is a famous quote from medical intuitive Carolyn Myss.  We store all of our history and emotions, our joys, traumas and experiences, on a cellular level within our bodies. An energy reading gives a snapshot of what is currently going on in your energy system; an energy healing can release somatic traumas and blocks.  I look at one's chakra system which comes from traditional Indian medicine.  Chakra is a Sanskrit word meaning, "spinning wheel".  Chakras are forces of energy that interact with the body's ductless endocrine glands and lymphatic system.  We have 7 main chakras, and then many smaller chakras which are the Acupressure or Acupuncture points in Eastern Medicine.

 

 

Before the readings, I center myself in meditation so I am "clear" to read.  Next, I ask for people to say their name out-loud, for energetic permission to look at their space. I begin to look at their overall energy, as well as their chakras, for anything that is calling my attention immediately, such as blocks, stuck energy, or relationship 'cords' with other people.  I start with a general overview of what the main issues are that they are working on in their current 'growth cycle'.  Then I ask what topic/challenge/question they have and look at their space with that in mind.  I then go through a more intensive specific reading.

 

The initial appointment is an hour and a half, and all sessions after that are an hour long.  I allot more time in the initial reading for questions and  to become familiar with the process.  I charge $125 for all sessions.

 

I don't, and would not feel comfortable holding someone else's power in that way.  I really feel we all have our own answers.  I want my readings to be an empowering experience for the client.  There are many untrained and or deceptive "psychics", and sometimes that is the only type of experience people have had with this work.  In contrast, I want to facilitate helping clients connect to their own intuition with what they already know at a deep level.  I like to sum up intuition like this: It is the COURAGE to know what you already know.  I hope to help build this courage.  It can be a deeply validating experience for someone to mirror one's own unique way of viewing and being in the world.  Usually we do not even know how we are unique .  Validation through readings, can really move people along in their path toward their power and soul's calling (in love relationships, career or health).  Personally, I know that this is what readings have done for me...which then gives me the courage to walk my path with much less anxiety, resistance and doubt.  After a good reading I feel connected, encouraged and appreciated for my unique gifts and perspective.  I feel it can be useful to be skeptical (I surely was!), but being cynical is usually not helpful.  Ultimately, it is through personal experience that we come to trust the energetic and spirit world.

 

I see myself as a translator of your spirit to your ego/body.  The information I get is coming from you.  Even when it is about your relationship with another person, I am "hooking into" this person's energy through your energetic presentation of him.  Sometimes I feel like I am playing charades!  I see dream-like images that I then translate. My background is in depth psychology and dream work, and my readings use this same language of the soul--metaphor.  

 

You can ask whatever is on your mind.  It is good to know that the more specific your question is, the more specific the answers are.

 

I do not believe that the future is totally fixed or that we are fated for a specific outcome.  But I do believe that the energies can be weighed in a certain way that some outcomes are more likely.  You never know though, when looking at someone's energy, if a dramatic shift will come the next day and things could look totally different.  I am very ethical in the way I look at energy and how I communicate it to others.  I always ask permission (verbally and/or energetically). This is important with relationship questions.  If someone asks me "Is my wife cheating on me?" I will shift the question to an empowering one for the client, like, "How is my wife and my energy relating at this point."  Then I can go into the dynamics of the relationship that the client has power to change.  It would be unethical for me to go into the wife's space without her permission and translate those things. 

 

I do not work with dark energy.  I believe that the type of energy we put out comes back to us, and I would not want to bring negative energy into my space.  To me energy readings are not weird or freaky (but that was not always the case!)  We are all energy workers...sending, receiving, interpreting energy all day long, many of us are just doing it unconsciously.  Most of our communication is energetic and non-verbal.  Have you ever thought about someone and then she called on the phone?  That is just energetic communication.  I believe we are all energy and all connected, and it is through this energy that we can get specific information when we look for it.

 

I wish I could!  But I do not get this type of information.  The big joke is if you tell someone you are intuitive or the loaded P word, "psychic" he will say, 'Well, if you are psychic what am I thinking right now?"  I am a normal person; I do not get information all day long.  That would be totally exhausting.  I get the information that I focus on and look for.  I like to joke that I am the psychic that does not tell the future or give advice!  Ethics, the degree the person is energetically open to the reading, and divine timing all effect the type of information I get. Sometimes someone will ask me a question and I will get nothing.  It is as if the spirit is saying to me, "That is enough for now," or "That information would not help the client at this point." 

 

I do.  I actually usually prefer them to in-person readings as I have a greater connection to your Soul Voice without being distracted by a physical presence or non-verbal communication.  The great thing about energy readings is that I do not need to be physically next to you to call up your energy in front of me. 

My book, that I am in the process of writing, it about finding your Soul Voice and living a life from that place of connection.  It weaves my own story, examples from clients, as well as tips to help inspire the reader to meet their own higher, vaster Self.  When it is completed, it will be available for sale through this website.

 

I came from a very analytical, rational, scientific upbringing where this type of thing would be regarded as "crazy" or "impossible".  My parents bought me the gift of an energy reading as a 'joke', but it blew my mind and changed my life.  I trained with the woman who read for me and later went through the energy program that trained her.  Along the way I had a miraculous body healing and intense spiritual and psychic experiences. I had a deep desire and longing to merge the psychic world with the world of counseling and went to graduate school in Depth Psychology.  I worked as a counselor, got my Marriage and Family Therapy Counseling licence...and here I am.  Whew! That was longer than I thought.

 

 

 

I graduated with a MA in Counseling Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute, which is a school that focuses in Depth Psychotherapy.  

 

I have a B.A. degree from the University of Washington, with majors in Speech Communications and Psychology.

 

I have worked as a therapist for over 9 years with individuals, families and couples.  I have worked at suicide hotlines, an agency for incest survivors, in the field of recovery and with teenagers on probation.

 

I have completed a rigorous 3 year meditation and energy work program that informs my spiritual counseling practice.  I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of California (MFC # 47467).
