Is your Manifesting Fundamentalist?Posted October 9, 2013 in Spiritual Psychology
Fundamentalism: a movement or attitude stressing strict and literal adherence to a set of basic principles.
Over the years, I have met some “Fundamentalist Law of Attractionists” as I call them–obsessed with the vibration they are putting out, paranoid that their every thought is creating something potentially “bad” or “negative” for them. I’ve even met people who are unwilling to talk to others going through a hard time, because they do not want to “lower their vibration”.
Many early “Law of Attractioners” have listened to some teachings of Abraham or watched “The Secret” and understand that the vibration they put out into the world influences what comes back to them. What this can sometimes create is a fear-based rigidity where they are so strict with their emotions they won’t allow themselves to feel sadness or anger for fear of “messing up their vibe”.
Newsflash: The Soul is much more powerful than this.
The Soul has a plan for your life. Sometimes the accidents, nightmares and shit storms that occur are part of the plan. Sometimes they are essential for your Soul learning and not indicative that you did something wrong to “mess up your vibe”. That flood that wrecked your house and caused you to move into your mother’s? That might have been on the Soul Agenda so that you two could work out some heavy karma…not because you kept watching “The Kardashians” and harshed your vibe.
Don’t let your manifesting create paranoia, fear and rigidity in your life. Allow your manifesting to raise you up, connect you to others and honor the real divinity of your Soul.
