Got breath?

I meditated today. The breath is so big and so small at the same time. So easy to “forget” about. So powerful when you remember. When I pay attention to my breath, it immediately puts me in the moment. In the present.

I often tell clients that meditating is the most self indulgent, self loving thing that we can do for ourselves. It is fast, efficient and free. Through mediation, we discover we can take a “mind vacation” anytime, anywhere.

I read this article today about why we meditate. I do not always practice the traditional “no mind” style of meditation; Sometimes my meditations are very active and visual.
