What’s The Deal With Vision Boards?

Posted October 9, 2013 in Healing / Self Care

Vision Boards.

Have you heard of them?

They are everywhere. What used to be a more off-beat quirky manifestation tool is coming out of the closet and featured on Oprah.

Basically, a vision board is a place to incubate and manifest your dreams.

What makes a good vision board?

1) The manifestations are coming from Soul and not ego fears

2) The vision board makes you feel good: connected, inspired, hopeful and happy.

3) The vision board is updated to be reflecting your current dreams

So how do you create a vision board?

Grab some catalogs, magazines scissors and glue. You might want to light a candle, put on some music and choose a mellow Friday evening to stay home and do some dreaming in images. Notice what you are instinctively drawn to as you flip through the pages. Choose pictures that light up your Soul and inspire.

Some things that I have manifested through vision boarding are: free space to see clients when I was first starting my practice, several romances that were VERY SPECIFICALLY what I vision boarded and an incredibly cheap trip to Hawaii.

So how ’bout you? Have you had luck with a vision board in the past? Are you working on anything that you are dreaming into reality now?

I completed a life vision board ~ all the things that were important to me at the time ~ and, now have it hung in my hallway ~ I love the idea of a yearly one.........I have drawn a tree with the trunk representing my goal or question ~ and then drawn the limbs with the "reasons" or the "qualities" that I am looking for ~ depending on what my goal or question is........they become works of art.
