Our retreats are held in the Soul Barn on our beautiful 5-acre property in Bainbridge Island, Washington. Bainbridge Island is a small 5 x 10 mile island. Winslow, the name of the downtown center, is filled with amazing restaurants, shops, museums and opportunities for outdoor adventures. The closest airport is the Seattle Tacoma International Airport (code= SEA) which is 20-minutes south of downtown Seattle.
From the airport, you can either rent a car, take a taxi, or grab the quick and easy light rail train to get to the Coleman Ferry Dock in downtown Seattle (801 Alaskan Way Pier 52, Seattle, WA 98104). From there, take a gorgeous and relaxing 35-minute ferry ride to Bainbridge Island. The Ferry leaves frequently and the schedule is here.
Once on Bainbridge there are often taxis waiting or you can bus many places. When you arrive on Bainbridge via the ferry you land in Winslow, with many restaurants and shops within walking distance.

At the South end of the island there is another area called, Lynwood Center which also has additional cute shops and food.
Participants of the Awakening from the Heart retreat are permitted to camp on our 5-acre property. You will need to have your camping gear and sleeping bags (although we have several air mattresses for those who want to stay in the Soul barn). The studio in the barn is equipped with a bathroom for taking showers.
If you are not going to camp, I highly recommend getting your lodging 3-months in advance. All of the hotels and air b n b’s book up quickly because it is the height of wedding season and very popular to come to the island during our best weather in the summer (consistently 75 degrees and sunny at the end of July/early August).
Air B ‘n B has many great options all over Bainbridge Island in the summertime.
